Every mortal being cant do without it
Every mortal being cant live without it
Good use of it  rewards the wise
Bad use of it ruins the foolish
We are always accountable to time

from it history is made
knowledge of it avoids  disasters
its lessons are evident and not far fetched
for the wise to learn and for the foolish to scorn
its ticks will never fail to tick and influence us

It was there when we were born
it will still be there when we die and are seen no more
it will never change either in age or efficiency
always documenting the decisions we make good or bad
ensuring that we or our decendants
