My Mother used to tell me how a statement from her principal a white lady, changed her life forever.
Sister Dorinella(for that was the Principal's name) after addressing the students during their graduation ceremony would give the graduating students these parting words "live everyday of your live as if it were your last". These words of wisdom had an immense impact on my mother and from that day onwards she started to see life as a battleground in which one has no other option but to succeed in what he or she is doing.
In the true sense of things, life is useless if you do not write your name on the sands of time as a successful person in what you do. One can live his allotted number of years on earth, but if one does not see that our sojourn on earth as temporal, One would be a bird of passage achieving nothing.
Life can only be fruitful and sweet if you live every day as if it were your last. Let people always remember you for the great deeds you have done and bless the day you were born.
But how can one accomplish great deeds in life? This is when you see every obstacle as a stepping stone in whatever you are doing. when you see your life as an avenue that will be used to make great impact in the life of others and when you have a close relationship with the author of your life God himself. That is when life is a victorious and success filled one. So live everyday as if it were your last make impact in the lives of men and in all you do ,do it with all your might and you will be a success forever.
