You are not free until you are economically free. I f  you take finances out, you are enslaved because the rich rule over the poor. Therefore we need to prosper to be able to exert any measure of influence in this world.
  So set yourself for financial breakthrough .We must be prepared .One major area we have to address is our thinking. Thoughts are powerful .The bible says; "As a man thinketh ,so is he". So make thinking plenty your starting point .Everything on the face of the earth started from an intangible state of thoughts, ideas and dreams. That is why Napoleon Hill wrote "Think and Grow rich". If things are not affecting your thinking then they are not affecting your life .Let us practical thinking for Financial breakthrough. Napoleon Hill in his book "Think and Grow rich" gave six steps for accurate thinking for success.
(1)Decide on a definite goal: When you are planning on money acquisition ,don't think on vague terms. Decide on specific amount of money. Nothing becomes dynamic until it becomes specific. You wont make profit where you are  until you are specific about what you want.
(2)Decide on a definite time frame: Give it a deadline.
(3) Write down your goals
(4)Develop a plan to achieve your goals.
(5)Decide what you are going to give in return: Know the price you are ready to pay.
(6)Think about your goal everyday
The key word here is planning. You don't talk about making money without planning. Planning means strategic thinking. Jesus described this in Luke 14:28-31where he gave two illustrations that had to do with sitting down thinking and plan, so that you will know whether you are going to succeed or fail. "For which of you intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and determine the cost, whether he has enough to finish it ,lest, after he had laid the foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him saying 'This man began to build and was not able to finish. 'Or what king going to make war against another king does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to meet him who comes with twenty thousand men or else while the other is still on a far way off, he sends a delegate and asks conditions for peace." Luke 14:28-31.
These  two issues deal with planning. Counting the cost is planning. No reasonable house is built without a plan. Architects use between 6 to 7years to study the planning and construction of buildings. So Jesus said you have to finish that house in your thoughts and on paper before you even begin the physical construction. Without vision there is no provision. Strategic thinking is the act of making it plain on tablets. The vision God shows you a times is the picture of the endpoint. So you need to calculate from where you are to the end point God showed you. If you locate how you will get there in your mind, you will get lost in between.
