Voters are certain that the Hilary Clinton versus Donald Trump contest in the 2016 elections would quickly alternate into a scorched -earth contest without personality and temperament.
According to ED Goeas a republican pollster. "This is going to be a race to the bottom.it is who can drive the negatives the most"
Mr.Trump has accused Mrs Clinton recently of abetting her husband's infidelities by seeking to tarnish her accusers. He labeled her a "nasty mean enabler"
Clinton has vowed to stick to issues." I am not going to run an ugly race". she said that over the weekend.
Polls shows that Mrs Clinton and Mr Trump are a well known nominees but are more unpopular than any of the 10 white house matchups.
According Steve Schmdt who managed John Mc Cain's 2008 presidential race " This election is not going to be about issues; it is going to be a race about character between the two unpopular political candidates in history"
Mrs Clinton and Donald Trump are among the best- people in America, their unpopularity with the general electorate as shown in polls, does not mean that cant improve their images. Both president Obama in 2012 and George W Bush in 2004 entered re-election races with higher unfavorable ranges than their opponents but ultimately won.
