NEIL ARMSTRONG WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THE FIRST MAN TO SET HIS FOOT IN THE MOON
Do you know that Neil Armstrong was not supposed to be the first man that set his foot on the moon? Many don't know that the man who would have taken the glory would have been Edwin C.Aldarin, for he was the pilot for the Apollo mission. He was working for the American Air force. Moreover, he had experience of space walking, hence was selected for the pilot.
Neil Armstrong worked for the American Navy. He was selected for his courage as co-pilot.
When the Apollo mission landed on the moon, they received a command from NASA, "pilot first". But Aldarin was  hesitant, "what will happen'', will I get sucked in or will I get sucked out", etc. The hesitation was not for hours, but few seconds.
In the meantime, NASA sent the next command, "co- pilot next''. Within the next second Armstrong  set his foot on the moon and became part of world's history.
History was changed in a split second..... though Aldarin had the qualification and talent he lost that opportunity of being the first man to set his foot on the moon because of hesitation. Today he is not remembered by many people, The world still remembers the person who came first.
This is a good example of how people loose out because of hesitation and fear. Whenever you see the moon remember this, a moment hesitation, shyness and fear can stop us from achieving what we are supposed to achieve. Many are shy and afraid to do the impossible and break new grounds that will make their names boldly written on the sands of time. but bear this in mind, if we loose courage to do the right things, we will most likely do the wrong things and regret later on in life. Avoid hesitation, Stop procrastination. The time to start  your success story in life is Now !!!!.
