Blessing is defined as an empowerment to prosper
THE FIVE TYPES OF BLESSINGS
(1) THE BLESSING OF GOD :Obedience to GOD makes one to live a life that pleases him and cause God to bless such a person.Anyone who is blest by GOD is made.
(2)BLESSING OF THE NEW CONVENANT: This blessing is a blessing based on grace.The sacrifice of the son of GOD to obtain blessing and grace for us on the cross of Calvary. This blessing does not come to us on basis of our righteousness but by grace.Grace is  unmerited favor and one receives the blessings of the new covenant through faith.
(3)PARENTAL BLESSING: One's destiny is 30% nature and 70% nurture. Part of what  fills that cup of blessing is the blessing of parents . It was the blessing of Isaac on the life on the life of Jacob that made Jacob. It is blessing of one's parents that shapens one's destiny. This is because parents are representatives of God on earth. This third kind of blessing is based on father-son ship relationship. One should seek to extract this kind of blessing if one's parents are still alive. Such blessings is provoked with a gift or venison.
(4)THE PRIESTLY BLESSING :The man of GOD has the power to cause blessings to rest on one's house and family. The Ministerial office is so powerful because the anointing of God rests on that office . You will never be a Abraham until you know your Melchizedek. You will never be a Joshua until you know your Moses. You will never be an Elisha until you know your Elijah. Nobody is self made, one needs to have somebody speak on their lives to make things happen. One needs to have a priestly blessing at least once in a year. The priestly blessing is so powerful that Rebecca so desired the blessing on Jacob. Without the priestly blessing, one is left with toiling and hardship.The Race is not for the swift not strong. There need to be someone to release the blessing of GOD upon your life and this can only be done by an anointed man of GOD. The priestly can annihilate 95% of your problems and struggles making things to move with ease in your life. Read Ezekiel 44:30,Deut 21:15, Numbers 22:23-26
(5) THE BLESSING OF THE POOR: Find people around you who you are better than and help them to solve their problems financially or otherwise. The person might not bless you in your presence but their hearts will keep blessing you. There is great blessing in benevolence, a blessing gotten from the gifts of kindness.
