One of the best feeling in the world is a deep-rooted belly laugh. It can bring people together and establish amazing connections.
Everything from a slight giggle to a side splitting-guffaw, can change the temperature of a room from a chilly unfamiliarity to a family-like atmosphere.
A lot has been researched on laughter and  amazing results keeps on coming in. So get enlightened ready and see what a deep rooted laughter can do to your body system.
(1)Laughter makes you to live longer: According to some recent research published in the archives of general psychiatry, elderly optimistic people ,those who expect good things to happen (rather than bad things) were less likely to die than pessimists .Infact, among the 65-85 year study participants, those who are optimistic were 55% less likely to die  from all causes than most pessimistic people.
(2)Laughter boosts your immune system: Researches have found out that laughter actually boosts the immune system, increases the number of antibody -producing T-cells. This makes us less likely to catch cold and cough. It also lowers the levels of at least four hormones that are associated  with stress. So after a good giggle you should be far less tense and anxious.
(3) Laughter Relieves Pain: A good laughter has been found to reduce pain. Not only does it distract you from aches, it releases feel good endorphins into your system that are more powerful than the same amount of morphine. A British clinical  study shows  how just 15minutes of laughter can reduce pain thresholds by 10% as a result of endorphins being released in the brain. These endorphins cause something akin to a natural "high" leading to a feeling of calm, as well as temporal pain relief.
(4)Laughter reduces Depression: Laughter has been known to help person suffering from full blown depression or sadness. It reduces tension and lowers anxiety and irritation which are all major factors that contribute to depression.
(5) Laughter improves your breathing: Laughter empties your lungs of more air than it takes in resulting in  a cleansing effect - similar to deep breathing . This is especially helpful for people who are suffering from respiratory ailments such as asthma.
(6) Laughter helps you to loose weight: Laughter  is a very good  physical exercise too. Burning off calories by laughing might not sound as   if it is of much use, but a hearty chuckle raises the heart rate and speeds up metabolism. This is very essential in weight reduction.
(7)Laughter protects the Heart: People who laugh a lot on regular basis have low blood pressure than the average person. When you have a good laugh, the blood pressure increases at first but then it decreases to levels below normal. Your heart is a muscle, like any muscle in your body. It gets stronger and functions better when exercised. Regular laughter is like getting a gym membership for your heart. Laughter has been found to benefit the way laughter flows around the body, reducing the likelihood of heart disease.
