YAKUBU GOWON'S SON JACK MUSA GRANTED STATE PARDON BY OBAMA AFTER 22 YRS IN PRISON



Jack Musa the son of ex Military head of State, General Yakubu Gowon and Late Edith Ike Okongwu .Edith a lady of Ibo extraction ,lived with Gowon during the civil war era until his people kicked her out for flimsy reasons and took Musa from her.
  Edith relocated to the United States but couldn't bear the loss of her Son being snatched from her by her lover's people. After many years, She took a daring task of "kidnapping "him and taking him back to America. That daring move was later a wrong one because young Musa later became rebellious and didn't approve of his mother's single and flamboyant lifestyle.
   To make matters worse, his dad being furious over the daring act of Jack's mother, allegedly cut himself off from his son as long as he was with the mother. Musa later became a high and notorious member of a Columbian drug Cartel and lived a rich and flamboyant lifestyle until he was caught in 1993.He was about 23years old at that time.
   Although he protested vehemently through his legal that he was innocent and was unjustly framed up, he was  nevertheless sentenced to 324months in prison plus five years of supervised release.
   Jack according to reports was well behaved during his prison stay, bagging a degree in law as a prison inmate. He was also a source of inspiration to co-inmates who has given up on life.The Prison warden also loved and worship the ground he treaded on.This Commended act of leadership together with family members fight for his release, attracted the attention of President Obama who granted him a parole recently .He would be deported back to Nigeria before the year ends.
